It has superceded the older version, sold as the AL5000 and AL5000 Expert on some competitor web sites and features an improved sensor. Don't buy old stock.
In addition our DA5000 Alcosens Plus is calibrated to the UK standard of mg/l offering more incremental steps to the UK limit than some competitor versions calibrated in %BAC
This is a good quality, hand held, portable breathalyzer offering good levels of accuracy. The DA5000 AlcoSens Plus Breathalyzer is compact and ideal for personal and semi professional use. The breathalyzer is supplied with a custom carry pouch, 2 Free Batteries and 6 mouthpieces. We can supply extra mouthpieces if required.
This model is calibrated in mg/l and will read to 2 decimal places - more accurate than other similar models calibrated in %BAC (Breath Alcohol Content).
The Breathalyser is calibrated to the UK standard of mg/litre but is fully usable in any country.
